IOWA COUNTY, IA — Authorities have released the names of the two people killed in a crash Thursday afternoon north of Amana. The victims were Colten Havel, 33, of Amana, and Sawyer Havel, 14, of North Liberty.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, they were traveling west on 110th Street in a Ford Escape when the vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign for the Highway 151 intersection.
Crash Details
The crash report says an Amana Farms vehicle driven by 41-year-old Roger Lindsey of Marengo was heading south on Highway 151 at the time of the collision. The two vehicles struck each other at the intersection after the Ford Escape entered the roadway.

Victims Identified
